Rich Makhane Ki Kheer

Recipe 
Serves – 6

INGREDIENTS

A. For Kheer
1½ kg full cream milk
100g unsalted roasted makhanas, coarsely chopped
Few strands of saffron soaked in 2 tbsp full cream milk
200g sugar
25 almonds, soaked in water for 3-4 hours, peeled and cut lengthwise
B. For Garnishing
Remaining almonds
Few strands of saffron
